The growers yield a small amount of coffee, from a small lot of trees once they have identified that it has a special quality and a high cupping score of over 85. More time and attention is given to this coffee in order to allow it to develop its uniqueness and flourish.

Microlot coffee is harvested from a particular plot of land, band of altitude and processed in a separate way from the rest of the coffee on the farm.
